1 Sabah Drift Challenge 2011 (15th & 16th Sep 2011) – Part 2

While I was all ready for the second day, I slept in…luckily my cousin called me up as he couldn’t find me at the event, and lucky too, my house is quite near to the race location.  It was jammed pack on the 2nd.  Rushed over, had a super fast breakfast, and start shooting.  

The morning was sunny and hot, but it rained the night before.  The track condition really put the drivers skill to real test.  And it rained again in the afternoon.  That’s when the real fun started.  Drift in the rain!  Yeah!

1 Sabah Drift Challenge 2011 (15th & 16th Sep 2011) – Part 1

Saw the news on a local newspaper right before the event.  So there I went to test my new camera, and to practice some panning.  Some shots on the 1st day (15th Sep), practice day for the competitors.

It’s holiday, Hari Raya, and my wife has returned to her hometown to celebrate with her family.  I didn’t join her this year due to I have something to catch up in town…but I didn’t forget to have some funs too.

Anyway, I always wanted to get that Nikon twin flash since the day I hooked to macro shooting, and finally, I went to grab it – R1C1 Wireless Close-Up Speedlight System.  Not cheap, but it’s definitely a great gear to have, especially when shooting bugs under the shady woods.

So yesterday afternoon, I went to the park to try it out.  Didn’t stay for long, but I’m planning to come back on the coming Sunday.

Got a 45 gallon tank from my parents’ home not long ago, and thus I have moved the blood parrot to the bigger tank.  The 30 gallon tank, has now became my 1st ever saltwater setup.  Besides busy going to the local fish store, tank setup, and water checking, now I have another subject to shoot.
