Macro & Close Up–Outing @ Tun Fuad Stephens Park (Part 3)

It’s holiday, Hari Raya, and my wife has returned to her hometown to celebrate with her family.  I didn’t join her this year due to I have something to catch up in town…but I didn’t forget to have some funs too. Open-mouthed smile

Anyway, I always wanted to get that Nikon twin flash since the day I hooked to macro shooting, and finally, I went to grab it – R1C1 Wireless Close-Up Speedlight System.  Not cheap, but it’s definitely a great gear to have, especially when shooting bugs under the shady woods.

So yesterday afternoon, I went to the park to try it out.  Didn’t stay for long, but I’m planning to come back on the coming Sunday.

Macro & Close Up – Outing @ Tun Fuad Stephens Park (Part 3)

So, one of our team members called and decided to visit the park.  What can I say?  It’s great!  So packed up and went to the park again.  While the previous two times were in the morning, this time round was in the afternoon.  The third time I went there (macro outing), walked on the same pathway, and still able to find something different, and yet we still haven’t finished the whole park.  I think we probably need a week full on if we want to cover the whole park…the part where it is accessible with pathway.

Macro & Close Up – Outing @ Tun Fuad Stephens Park (Part 2)

It’s the 1st day of the new year, with great weather in the morning, it also means it’s a good time to go out for some photo shooting.  So me and my cousin went to the park again to have a look see.

Macro & Close Up – Outing @ Tun Fuad Stephens Park (Bukit Padang)

So me and my cousin had a special Christmas day this year, instead of him going to church, we had our 1st macro outing together at one of the local parks – Tun Fuad Stephens Park (Bukit Padang).  It was a great day.

Macro & Close Up – Part 7

DSC_0014 (2) Saw this thing when I reached home just now.  Don’t ask me, I have no idea what kind of bug is this.

Macro & Close Up – Part 6

We were supposed to go out to do some night photo shooting last night, but due to unforeseen issue, plan was cancelled.  So what did I do?  Macro time, again.
