Gaya Street

Went to Gaya Street again yesterday morning.  I used to bring along my 70-300mm due to it’s just perfect for sniping from a corner.  However, the shutter speed can be slowed especially when zoom all the way to 300mm due to shades along the street market and the narrow aperture.  Not to mention if I want to shoot a close up of something, I will have to stand at the minimum focus distance, which is about 5ft away.  It’s just too inconvenient consider the place is all jam packed.

So, I brought my Nikon 105mm macro lens along yesterday.  After all, it’s one of the reasons I bought this lens, able to shoot macro and portrait with ease.  Besides, with its wide aperture, I can have the shutter speed value higher than the focal length, with ISO-200.  It’s just perfect!
