Kota Kinabalu Runway
It was a Public Holiday yesterday, and my friend suggested that we go to shoot some aeroplane. It’s a hot day, and there was no shade for us to take cover. So took a few snaps and left.

North Borneo Kota Kinabalu Train
Went to the train station to have some simple shots yesterday with a friend. The old steam train is no longer available, unfortunately. Left only the carriages.
And the old train was replaced with a more modern unit, although the couch on the waiting platform was left untouched. Train service is currently unavailable.

Tamu Besar Kota Belud 2010
The biggest open-air market in Sabah, held once a year. The best time to see the faces, costumes, and the culture of one of the local races – Bajau. More info available here.
---------- ---------- ----------
Some of the items that were selling at the market.
---------- ---------- ----------
Some of the locals who do handicrafts at the market.
---------- ---------- ----------
One of the Bajau beauty pageants (Ratu Serimpak).
---------- ---------- ----------
Preparing for the horse parade.
---------- ---------- ----------
Cowboys of The East.

Besides the busy market, it was like a DSLR show-off day too. Almost 2 out of every 10 people were carrying DSLR, and a lot of them were carrying more than one unit too. This kid did attract some attention.
Having an infant doesn’t mean that you have to stop from outdoor activity.
